What is this tool?
The SERP Snippet Preview tool shows you exactly how a page's title tag and meta description are likely to appear in Google's search results, on both desktop and mobile, before you publish anything. Google frequently truncates titles and descriptions that run too long, so previewing them first helps you write copy that displays in full and still entices a click.
How to use it:
- Enter your intended Page Title — keep it under roughly 60 characters (about 580 pixels) so it isn't cut off.
- Enter the Page URL — the tool builds the breadcrumb-style URL line Google shows underneath the title.
- Write your Meta Description — aim for roughly 150-160 characters so your summary isn't truncated with "...".
- Watch the live counters: they turn amber as you approach the limit and red once you've gone over it.
- Compare the desktop and mobile previews, then copy the ready-made
<title>and<meta description>tags straight into your page's<head>.
Everything happens locally in your browser using plain JavaScript — no data is uploaded, stored or sent anywhere, and there's no sign-up required.
