What is this tool?

The Redirect Generator turns a list of old and new URLs into ready-to-use 301 redirect rules for either an Apache .htaccess file or an Nginx server block. 301 redirects tell search engines and browsers that a page has permanently moved, which preserves your rankings and link equity when you restructure, rename, or remove pages.

How to use it:

• Enter each old path (e.g. /old-page) and its new destination (e.g. /new-page) in a row.
• Click "Add another redirect" to add as many rows as you need.
• Choose whether you want Apache or Nginx syntax from the format dropdown.
• Click "Generate redirects" and copy the output straight into your server configuration.

Rows with an empty old or new path are automatically skipped, so you can leave spare rows blank without breaking the output. Everything runs locally in your browser — no data is ever uploaded or stored.
